Hello everyone!

My name is Lucas Matos, I'm only 4 years old, and I'm from Santarém, Pará, Brazil.

In June 2024, my life changed forever: I was diagnosed with High-Risk Acute Lymphoblastic B-Cell Leukemia. Since then, I've been fighting every day here in Barretos, at Hospital de Amor—a place far from home, but where I receive the best treatment to have a real chance of a cure.

I'm undergoing intense and challenging chemotherapy, which can lead to serious complications. That's why my fight will last years, until I can overcome this difficult battle.

My greatest strength is my mother, Luíze, who is always by my side, caring for me with all her love, even having to stop working to be with me on this journey. Treatment is essential for me to live, for me to have a childhood full of games, smiles, and dreams.

That's why my Aunt Brenda, with my mother's permission, created this fundraiser. The goal is to get help covering medical expenses, buying necessary medications, and paying for our stay here—rent, food, transportation, and everything else we need to stay strong in this fight.
