Luca's Eagle Scout Project: Saving the Birds!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Luca Sinclair from the BSA Troop 136 known as the Zoo troop in Sacramento. I am working on my Eagle Scout Service project and need some help financing the project.
I am building a flight cage for the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue in Auburn, CA. This flight cage will give additional capacity for this bird rescue organization to use for injured or sick reptors being rehabilitated.
Building such flight cages requires the purchase of specialty materials that will last and protect the birds during their time of rehabilitation at the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue. The cage, when assembled, will be 12' wide x 20' long x 8' tall.
Here are examples of such necessary materials: pressure treater lumber and vinyl coated hardware cloth to enclose the cage, in addition to galvanized nuts, bolts and wahers to assemble the cage and other miscellaneous supplies. Inside the cage, I will add some manzanita branches to make 6 perches.
I estimate that the project materials will cost about $1,600-$1,700 and I am asking for your help to succeed in completing this service project for the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue organization.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
