LRI Ward 27 – Supporting Children with Cancer
Donation protected
On the 17th of January, my son Chester was diagnosed with Mature B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment at Ward 27, the children’s cancer ward at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Throughout this journey, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible care and dedication of the staff, but we’ve also become aware of the many essential items—gifts, accessories, and health equipment—that are not provided by the NHS but make a real difference in the lives of the children on the ward.
To support these brave children, I am raising money directly for Ward 27, ensuring they receive everything they need to make their treatment and time in hospital as comfortable as possible. The ward has a specific Amazon wish list filled with vital items that enhance the care and experience of young patients. Every penny donated will go straight to the ward, helping provide these much-needed resources for children battling cancer.
Any donation, big or small, will help bring comfort and support to these children and their families during such a difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
