Hi,

My name is Paul, and I am a loving father to my 4.5 year old twins. These kids mean the absolute world to me, and are the very reason my life is full of love and smiles.

In July 2025, their mother unilaterally decided that she would relocate, with my children, 130 miles away without any opportunity to object to this.

Since then, after exhausting all other means of keeping the kids close by, I have been left with no choice but to contest this in Family Court. I have exercised my Parental Rights only for the court to decide, in the interim before it is settled, that they did not want to "upset the status quo of them staying with their mother". The court case is still months from being over and has already cost over £7000 in legal fees, and is expected to exceed this by a fair deal. Now the children have started school 130 miles away, it is becoming increasingly difficult, and expensive, to remain in constant contact.
