Our AMAZING daughter, granddaughter, niece, and HERO, Lovelynn “Lovey” was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT) cancer at a tender age of 10 months. The diagnoses came after several misdiagnoses from multiple doctors at various Emergency Room and Urgent Care facilities in Albuquerque, New Mexico.



Since the day Lovey has been diagnosed, she has undergone an invasive surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible and has endured multiple chemotherapy treatments at the University of New Mexico Hospital.



Lovey has recently been transferred to the Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, where she will be receiving a Stem Cell transplant. Since the transfer, Lovey’s parents have been commuting between Aurora, Colorado, and their home in Albuquerque as they alternate caring for Lovey in Colorado and her sibling back in New Mexico.



Due to the intensive and frequent rounds of treatments received by Lovey, both of her parents have been by her side every day. Lovey’s father has had to take an extended leave of absence from his employment to be with her, causing un-foreseen financial hardship.



At this time, we kindly ask our family and friends to assist us in providing some financial relief for Lovey and her family as they fight to beat this aggressive form of cancer. All funds received will directly go towards the expenses incurred by the Foster family. These expenses include lodging, fuel, food and incidentals for the family as they continue to stay close to and support Lovey on her road to recovery.
