#LOVEistheCureNYC teams up with Brighter Bites

Want to join us in making a difference? As part of our school's campaign to spread love & hope during this crisis, we created  #LOVEistheCureNYC.  This campaign encourages all to reach out and support each other through a random act of love during what seems like a hopeless time.

We're raising money to benefit Brighter Bites and any donation will help make an impact on our Queens' families living in the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic.  This is the community where our school is located and where we have have personal connections with many of the families impacted.

Brighter Bites is an organization that our school partners with to provide our families with fresh produce.  They have really stepped it up during this time and are continuing to serve families in need.  Brighter Bites packs 40,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables into 2,000 bags and delivers directly to each enrolled family on a weekly basis. $10 provides fruits and vegetables for one week, $40 feeds a family for a month.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

More information about Brighter Bites (Brighter Bites): Brighter Bites is a research-based, multi-component, and collaborative nonprofit with the mission of creating communities of health through fresh food. We deliver fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families’ hands, couple that fresh food access with nutrition education, and track their behavior change along the way. We make it fun. We make it free. And we make it happen via a simple, three-part formula.
