Hi, my name is Shaye Youngleson, and I started the LoveIsContagious initiative.
I live in San Diego, California and with the current crisis, I have created this Non-profit initiative to give back to the healthcare heroes during the COVID-19 crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, health care workers and caregivers have been risking their precious lives by working day through the night to save the people in our world, in our communities. As much as we say thank you, we need to do more and take the time to give back to the heroes of COVID-19 and show more appreciation. The LoveIsContagious Initiative will provide "Health and Care Baskets" that will be distributed to healthcare workers and care givers through random acts of kindness while being careful to follow all the safety precautions.
Most health care workers and caregivers have been working 24/7 without seeing their families, getting a good rest to prepare for all the hard work they put into preparing for and helping patients every day. Baskets will include comfort, stress relief and safety products. Due to taking precautions during the COVID-19 outbreak, donations through the GoFundMe will raise money to buy specific products for the baskets. Thank you in advance for making a difference in other people's lives.
