Our family at Love and Salt has been incredibly fortunate to be a part of the Manhattan Beach community for over 40 years all the way back to when it was home to the beloved Cafe Pierre. It has been our life's mission to provide our guests with nourishing food and hospitality, to treat our staff with the utmost love & respect and to be generous with our community.

On March 22nd, we made the incredibly difficult and unprecedented decision to temporarily close our doors to protect and ensure the safety of our team, our guests and our community in response to COVID-19. With a heavy heart and so much uncertainty, we have had to furlough all 40 members of the Love & Salt team.

Unfortunately, the restaurant industry is not the beneficiary of a bail-out (as much as it is the backbone of our country and 15x the size of the airline industry) and the current relief programs don't work for us, at least yet. Until then, we are trying to find ways to give some immediate relief to our staff to help weather these difficult times. (Many of our staff still haven't received a single unemployment check!)

So, IF you have the means, (we understand these are tough times), we are asking you to please donate whatever you can to get our staff through these trying times. 100% of the proceeds will go to supporting our team.
