Our dear friend, Mickey, & her sweet family have endured an enormous amount in their lives, just recently. Everything from replacing just about all of their household appliances in their home within the last few months, which resulted in flood damage, leading up to all the damage due to tornado-force winds which now includes even more significant water damage from it pouring in from the roof & a demolished swing set which was meant to last a lifetime to help with their precious youngest with Down Syndrome…all resulting in a large insurance deductible. This is on top of an insurmountable amount of medical bills from everything they’ve gone through & continue to walk through with their precious youngest daughter. When you ask her about it, Mickey doesn’t consider her struggle any more than the next person & even in the midst of her struggles, she asks others how she can help them. In fact, she has NO clue about this post & may even request us to remove this (she will be unsuccessful in her request). There’s beauty in the way she’s able to find joy amidst her pain. To know Mickey is to know grace.

So, with that being said, our friend is going through a truly difficult time (as we all have or maybe are going through) and she could not only use our prayers, but our love offering too….as they need their deductible for their insurance covered. Most of you have been a witness to her struggle and I would bet that most of you have also been a witness to her generosity. Here’s our chance to pay it forward & help to pull them out of the struggle …even if for just a moment to breathe …so no matter how small you feel the gift is, it’s huge in their world right now ~not because of some dollar amount, but because you chose to give.
