Hello, Heather here. We have started a love fund for my sister, Cari and her husband, Jordan, and their twin girls, Audree and Ava.

What happened?

Saturday night about midnight Cari ended up in labor and delivery in labor at just 25 weeks. She had progressed far enough there was no way to stop it. The staff managed to put off labor for about 13 hours, then with the babies breach and Cari almost ready to have them, they went ahead and performed a cesarean.

Audree was born just 1 pound 6 ounces. Ava was born just 1 pound 13 ounces. The girls went to the NICU at mercy and after a while they got Ava critically stable, but could not get Audree stable at all. Mercy offered to transfer them to Childrens and Cari and Jordan felt like that would be the best option. The flew them in two separate helicopters to Little Rock where the babies are still today. There have been set backs and tiny wins and the girls are now both considered critically stable. They need lots of prayers and are expected to be there at least 3 months.

Why give?

After they released Cari from the hospital, her and Jordan headed straight to Little Rock where to be with the girls. There will be many trips back and forth, a lot of staying in Little Rock, lots of time off on Cari's part, and then the medical bills they will receive. We do not know how much they are looking at for the medical side, but whatever they receive, will go towards whatever they need to be with the twins and take care of them during this entire journey.

We cannot thank you enough for all of your prayers and support. It brings the family to tears simply feeling all the love from this wonderful community we are surrounded with. We pray God bless you abundantly for your kindness and love!
