Geoff and Ana are spending more time in Tahoe - so the Love for Xavier Run has a new location! Love for Xavier is coming up this October 20, in the beautiful mountain scenery of Lake Tahoe, California. This run is not just a fitness challenge and a fun costume event-- It is a continued honoring of our beautiful red-haired son Xavier's life, and an opportunity to support the two organizations who bettered Xavier's time on this earth (and our lives)--and who continue to grow in their mission to support medically fragile children: Jacob's Heart and Medically Fragile Children's Foundation.

We continue to learn of other children and families impacted by medically fragile situations and diagnoses. Xavier has inspired us to continue to try to help these families. You won't see these kids at the playground or at schools - as they often spend a lot of time in hospitals or subacute care facilities. Life with medically fragile kids has big challenges- and these families are so grateful for the support we give. In the cumulative years of this run, we have raised over $75,000! We'd so appreciate your support this year!

Jacob's Heart: Jacob's Heart (jacobsheart.org) provides family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical and financial struggles for families of children and teens during cancer or other serious medical treatment, families experiencing anticipatory grief and those who are bereaved.
