Love for Tytan, Crystal and Havyn

Dear Friends and Heart Family - We are putting together this fundraiser for our dearest friend Crystal, her son Tytan, and daughter Havyn. Sweet Tytan is a 12 year old boy facing his third fight with a rare form of cancer. He was diagnosed in June of 2019 with cic-dux rearranged sarcoma. Since then he has relapsed twice, this last time being the most challenging as the cancer has spread throughout his body. There is a lot of concern around a fast growing tumor in his lung. Over the last year and a half Tytan has undergone countless surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. It is Tytans request to not go through anymore chemotherapy since it is so so hard on his fragile body. Quality of life at this stage is also important. The doctors don’t want to radiate the tumor in his lung because it could do irreversible damage but radiating 4 spots around it for pain relief. Crystal is paying out of pocket for alternative treatments as they are not covered by insurance. Vitamin C infusions ($250) x2 a week. Ozone ($450) x2 a week. And hyperbaric therapy ($250) x7 times a week. Weekly cost: $3,150 Not to mention living expenses. Paying rent/utilities/car payment while staying at the Ronald McDonald house and for food since the kitchen at Ronald McDonald house is closed due to Covid. Also, they are holding out hope that he will be a candidate for immunotherapy. The cost of that test is $2000. Immunotherapy would stimulate his immune system to locate and eliminate cancer cells. This procedure is not covered by insurance and will be a major cost for Crystal. Naturally, as a parent, Crystal wants to do whatever possible to help Tytan and we would love to ease her financial worries on top of everything else she and her family are facing.
