Steven Martinez Memorial Fund and Family Support

Steven is currently in palliative care, facing the final stages of a serious illness. As he nears the end of his journey, we’re coming together to support him and the family he holds so close to his heart—his partner Tori, and their two children, Steven Jr. and Nevaeh.

Steven has always been a gentle, joyful presence—someone with a bright smile and a sweet laugh that can lift the room. He’s a devoted Denver Broncos fan, but even more than football, his greatest pride and joy is his family. He’s built a life around loving and providing for them, and he’s done it with everything he has.

As the primary provider for the family, Steven’s illness has brought not only emotional hardship, but a hefty financial burden. Our total goal is to raise $40,000 to help with the cost of his end-of-life care, a memorial to honor the life he’s lived, and to provide support for Tori, Steven Jr., and Nevaeh during this incredibly difficult time.

Every donation helps make sure Steven is comfortable, and that his family has the care and stability they need in the days and months ahead. If you’re able to give—or even just to share—your support means more than words can express.

Thank you so much for all your support. Steven passed away early this morning surrounded by family in Grand Junction, Colorado. 

Now more than ever we need support as Tori navigates life without her partner and the kids begin a life without their dad. Please continue to donate and share! We are so incredibly grateful that ya’ll have shown up, and we hope to keep that momentum going. 

These funds will continue to aid in cremation, planning a memorial, housing support for Tori and the kids, and all other expenses related to keeping the family afloat in the days, months, and years ahead.
