Incredibly brave 9 year old Sasha lost her arm after being shot in Ukraine.

She's lost her whole world as well. We'd at least like to replace the birthday presents she joyful opened last month, before the unthinkable. 

 

Her stepdad was killed and Sasha and her mum hid in a bunker for two days while conflict raged outside. She was in horrific pain from her injuries and as her situation worsened they made a run for the hospital. Sasha's arm was amputated to save her life.

 

I’m an Aussie mum also with a 9 year old daughter called Sasha. I cannot imagine. I write a family blog on FB @themotherlode and we are sharing Sasha’s story to help. We feel so helpless watching the atrocities in Ukraine, but hopefully we can help this one special Sasha.

 

I've spoken to her father Anton and have permission for this fundraiser. At the conclusion of the fundraiser money will be transferred to Sasha’s mother to help them support Sasha.

(Sasha is out of the war zone and safe. In the highly unlikely event of any unexpected change in Sasha's circumstances, donors will be notified and money will go to a researched, registered charity providing humanitarian aid for children in Ukraine. )
