Love for Amberly

This is a fundraiser for my sweet cousin Amberly. She is one of the most giving, selfless, kind, thoughtful and hard working people I know. Anyone who knows her, fondly thinks about her smile and her contagious giggle.

She has spent her adult life caregiving and helping her family in so many ways. Always stepping up and going the extra mile for the people she loves. She has sacrificed so much, and worked so hard, so that others were taken care of, or made to feel special.

I’m raising money for her because she will be tackling hefty financial obligations soon. Over the years, she has taken care of her parents that both have limited incomes and serious health obstacles. She has carried the weight of the stress with a loving heart, but anyone can see that she is exhausted and overwhelmed.

Her father, Larry was in the hospital, then recently transferred into hospice. She has been by his side making sure he is comfortable and has anything he could possibly need or want. She has literally been at his beck and call.

She has had to take time off of work not only to take care of him, but also, everything that goes into end of life preparation. It has been a long and complicated few months leading up to this point. All of this, plus being the sole caregiver for her mother, Shauna, that lives with her in her home.

Amberly has a huge family that loves her. She is a hands on grandmother of twins and a “role model mom” that I have always respected and looked up to. She works 2 jobs and somehow keeps all the balls in the air with grace and integrity without a complaint.

I’m asking for you to help by pitching in what you can, so that she not only can cover expenses, but help her be calm and present in her fathers last moments. We can help lift some stress off her, so she can focus on what’s important. We can all let her know she is loved and that we are here to lift her up in this time of need.
