Love Chain
Hello, my name is Carita Smith, and I help to run Funky Fitness & Fun, an organisation that supports members with additional needs in the Manchester and Oldham area. We have been hit hard by the global pandemic, as have most people and organisations. We are now struggling to stay open financially. To help the situation, we came up with a fundraising idea called LOVECHAIN - https://lovechain.uk
LOVECHAIN is a project to build a paper chain to circumnavigate the globe - 24,901 miles, to be exact. Funky Fitness & Fun will be making the first mile, which will consist of approximately 19,000 paper links. We hope other groups/societies/schools will join the project and help us to encircle the world in a paper chain of love and happiness. And doesn't the world need love and happiness right now.
We ask people to sponsor a link at £1.00 per link. Your donation and kind support would mean so much to our members who thrive at Funky Fitness & Fun. Not only do they get to socialise with other members and staff but we teach them how to keep fit, eat healthily and most of all - have fun!!
