Hello,

My name is Lashanda Lee, director of Kingdom Preneurs Mision. I have a team who is ready to volunteer and give back to Ghanaians. We aim to support families in Ghana by providing them with food supplies from our Love and Care Food Packages.

Why I'm fundraising

I had the opportunity to live in Ghana for eight months and during that time, I developed a deep empathy for the poverty-stricken community. It's heart-wrenching to see kids begging for food on the streets, some even being used by their parents. I've heard stories of parents struggling to pay for their children's education because of the high cost of food. We believe that Ghanaian people need this kind of hope to be restored to the country. To help these families, I've asked my team from the United States to come and assist me in serving the poor. Our goal is to provide consistent food support, alleviating the burden from their shoulders so that they can focus their resources on other essential needs. We believe that by doing so, Ghanaians can move beyond mere survival and towards a better life.

The impact of your support

In September 2023, my husband, myself, and our neighbor went out to feed about 30 children. At first, some of the kids were a bit scared or didn't know what to do. But then, many of them were happy and ran off with big smiles on their faces. The parents were grateful too and said thank you. That made me feel so happy. It was a special moment and it made a big difference for those kids and their families.

The other day, I saw a child waiting patiently outside my house. When I went to get my delivery, they seemed happy to see me. We have also helped out our neighbors by giving them money and food, and now the kids call my husband "chairman" because they think he's important and has a lot of money. It's amazing to see how much of a difference we've made in our community in such a short time.

We're providing food packages to families in Ghana with essential items like rice, cooking oil, eggs, and more. A $65 donation can take care of a family's food needs for a month and help them focus on other things that are essentials for the families, which can also lead to making investments in the Country and Community.
