Love and Support for the Edgar Family

Hello everyone, although we hoped we would never be here...we are needing help in a big way for the Edgar family.

Robyn, her husband Tyler and two boys Jaxson and Jared.

Robyn has been a dancer her whole life and a dance teacher and studio owner for over 15 years. Her bubbly personality and zest for life is unmatched. She has great love for her family and her proudest accomplishment is being a mom to her boys.

Tyler works full time and is an amazing support to Robyn. Jaxson is in grade 11 and Jared is in grade 8.

Robyn's diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer almost 6 years ago caused her to step away from dance, with the exception of part time teaching here in Okotoks. For those of you that have seen her you know she has been a true warrior. A courageous unstoppable fierce being! Really until recently you wouldn't have known she had cancer.

But cancer is unpredictable...multiple surgeries and radiation treatments have brought us here and now begins a new journey of chemo and radiation.

As you can imagine all of this has left Robyn without her usual sparkle.

With all of these changes impacting her body she isn't as mobile as she had hoped and is often tired.

We are sharing her story in the hopes to raise funds to assist her and her family in any way we can.

Currently the first priority is a chair lift for the stairs so that she can go up and down from her room to the living room, where she has a special chair to lay in.

All funds raised will go to various needs for the family including this chair, naturopathic treatments, medicines not covered by AB health, mortgage, bills, food, gas for travel(Robyn will be going to and from Tom Baker daily). Potentially part time in home care if needed as well...really anything that the family may need to help them get through this next hurdle.
