We have started this campaign in support of our dear friend Kelly O'Brien's sister, Shannon. You may have known that Shannon has been battling a form of glioblastoma, an invasive brain cancer. Over the past year she has bravely fought through seizures, multiple surgeries, multiple chemotherapies and radiation treatments like a true warrior. She has a loving husband and three beautiful children.  Kelly and her mother have taken turns fighting by her side in New Jersey and in Colorado. Recently, with treatments being unresponsive, Shannon has made the incredibly strong decision to stop treatment. Shannon's cognitive and motor function continually declines and she requires assistance to perform everyday functions as she can no longer walk. Shannon and her children have come to Colorado to be with Kelly and her parents.   This campaign is meant as a small token to support the family as they continue to face the unimaginable.  It will help with the assistance Shannon needs and to support her family.
