Love and Support for Quinn

Quinn needs our help! A few years ago Quinn's amazing pediatrician just happened to hear an abnormality at a regular check up. Following his gut he recommended a visit to the cardiologist. Jen and Gavin were then shocked with the reality that Quinn would need continual follow up and eventually, an open heart surgery! What a shock for any parent to hear. The research into the diagnosis, subaortic membrane began. Jen and Gavin were able to find a great team of doctors in Chicago that have been able to work concurrently with her doctors in NY in order to provide the best possible care for her. With this diagnosis though, timing is everything. If you operate too soon further surgeries will most definitely be needed but if you time it just right there's a good chance only one is needed. Unfortunately now is the time and the surgery can no longer wait. Quinn is scheduled to have the procedure in Chicago on 7/21...Jen's birthday! Quinn is not yet aware of the surgery as the team has a plan to help her cope in the best way possible. So please don't mention the surgery in her presence. She will be notified by 7/11. Due to travel out of state, hospital bills and the need to stay in the area for weeks post procedure, we have decided to rally all of those near and far that love our sweet god-daughter. Please help us take the financial burden off of Jen and Gavin's shoulders during this difficult time. Prayers are of course also requested and we will update you on Quinn's progress throughout this process.
