Hello everyone,

My name is Lupita Gonzalez, alumni of Saint Clement School and Moreau, and daughter of Mrs. G (Josie). I grew up closely with the Boccoleoni family, Cassie and I spent summers together and have remained friends since 2001. Our siblings, Marcos, Daniela, Louis, and Teresa, also grew up together. We share countless memories, and we have our mothers, Mrs. G and Mrs. B, to thank for that foundation of love and community.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share that Mrs. B’s journey with cancer is coming to an end.

Valerie, lovingly known as Mrs. B, has always brought joy, laughter, and care everywhere she went, touching so many lives. Now, it’s our turn to lift up her family in this incredibly difficult time.

I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help cover care-related expenses and services, as well as flowers for her celebration of life. Valerie once said she dreamed of being a florist in another life, so we’d like to honor her by surrounding her with flowers.
