My name is Dr. Michelle Gutsch, and I have a very great friend, Esther Unger, who has experienced so much loss lately. No one should have to experience so much loss, especially not all at once!

Esther and Carla Unger are sisters. They live together in Duluth, MN. In 2012, they lost their mother, who also lived with them. In 2025, Esther found her brother, Chuck, passed away in the morning, after saying "goodnight" the night before. This was a shock to everyone who knew them. A few months after this, Esther lost her son, Patrick, who lived in California. She was able to be with him when he passed. However, Esther and the rest of her family and friends are stunned and are left feeling so sad and depressed that daily tasks are difficult. On top of all of this loss, Esther's car died, and she does not have the money to replace it. She needs a vehicle to work and continue to support her family. She supports her sister, who is unable to work. Esther needs to see that there is so much love and support for her in her community. We need to swing the pendulum the other way for Esther and her family.
