Love and Light for Julius and His Girls

Donation protected

Julius Irving is an activist, humanitarian, (r)evolutionist, and alchemist. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Julius is very passionate about life, freedom, and raising the mass vibrational consciousness of the world. He worked as a field organizer for the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition to help get Amendment 4 passed and was featured in the New York Times twice in 2020 for his work with the Florida Immigrant Coalition around voter registration (print and podcast). He is also the owner of a tattoo business N.W.A. (NeverWorkAgain) LLC and the founder of a grassroots movement that empowers black men through exercise, education, and intellectual discourse. No matter what he has accomplished or may accomplish in the future, Julius knows his greatest creation or achievement is having children and being a father. https://www.csgnv.org/fellows

Winning the trial for Julius should have been a time of freedom. However, it has felt more like a sentence of incarceration. Being trapped in the cycle of incarceration goes beyond physical confinement. Julius has done the best he can in the past year, yet his best doesn't seem good enough. This offering is not to save Julius but to help Julius help himself. Julius is known for giving rides to youth, mothers without transportation and other black men like himself trying to better their lives. Julius motivates his community by modeling healthy eating and fitness as self-care. Julius is the father of 3 and a single father of a 5-month-old daughter. He is learning to manage his first apartment and is a new business owner.

On the outside, Julius appears to be strong and has it all together, but he could use the community's help. Helping Julius goes beyond helping an individual. Investing in Julius indeed flows into his family and his community. Your offering will allow Julius to get tires for his car and catch up on his bills. Julius will be able to get the business supplies that he needs and will be able to ensure that he and his daughters can have the food and hygiene that they need.

Money should not be a barrier for someone to get their basic needs met. Julius has a lot of responsibility as a father and head of his household and family. Let's share some light and love with Julius and remind him that he is not alone!
