As Covid-19 has forced our Louisville restaurants to close, it's left thousands of Louisville service industry workers with no income. We as enthusiusts of the Louisville Food & Beverage culture care about those that serve us and want to help the service industy by assisting them with some of their expenses.
Additional Info:
We will not be taking profit from this fundraiser. 100% of the generated donations will be distributed through out the city to any tip based workers and small business. Note: Expenses will be recouped at the conclusion of this fundraiser, (facebook Ads) but we are re stating that this is a NOT FOR PROFIT fundraiser.
Nominate a Beneficiary:
To nominate a tip based worker (or nominate yourself) to receive the benefits of this fundraiser, please visit our facebook page LOU Loves Food Podcast, and send us a direct message with your name, and your current or former employer (in the case you were let go and won't be returning)
Distribution:
Assuming we reach our goal or surpass it, our goal would be to keep 10% ($2000) set aside for small businesses and donate that when they reopen. We'd pick 4 small business and give them $500 each to help with a lease payment, payroll or to help with stock fulfillment.
We would then split the rest up and into $300 increments and select 60 beneficiaries to receive the donations.
