I'm really excited that I have been selected to go on the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk, Poland. It is a huge camp that takes place every 4 years with about 40,000 Scouts from over 150 countries. I will be part of the Central Yorkshire Unit with 35 others. We all need to fundraise not only for our own place at the camp but to help Scouts from developing countries attend the Jamboree.
I have decided to run every street in Weetwood Ward where I live. The Ward is very large and covers parts of Headingley, West Park, Lawnswood, Ireland Wood and Tinshill as well as Weetwood. I don't know how long it will take me but I have decided to run 3 times a week starting today, 11/11/25, and will update this page with my progress as I go along. I don't usually run at all which makes this an even bigger challenge!
I would really appreciate it if you could donate to my fundraising, thank you very much! The money goes to my Scout Group, 19th North Leeds (St Chad's) who then pass it on to the Jamboree Unit.
