Good afternoon! This GoFundMe is for my fiance, Louie, Bearded Villian (Sgt. Lakeland BV), to help defer costs for the upcoming court battle, he will be starting in the next few weeks. For the last 4.5 years, he has had "full custody" of his boys, with recent every other weekend visitation for their mom. There was not a formal agreement, just verbal, and until 1.5 years ago, there was barely any contact between her and the boys, until she decided she wanted to start seeing the boys more often. They have been with her every other weekend, with a sprinkle (maybe 5) visits in-between for a dinner out, since then. On Mother's Day 2025, she dropped off the boys and stated that she wants 50/50 shared custody. They discussed shared custody (they sat down and agreed to everything on paper). Last week, she then asked for us to watch the boys on school days out, sick days, and to pick them up from school every day, during her weeks (and keep them with us until she comes to get them, definitely not shared custody anymore). A discussion was had with the boys, confusing them, before she discussed anything with Louie. When they got home, on Mother's Day, they were upset to the point of having a panic attack and crying uncontrollably, because they didnt understand what was going on. He will be filing for physical and legal custody, as well as child support and a visitation schedule for her. Those around to him know the story, the struggles, and the absolutely undeniable love and attention he gives to the boys. They are never without him at school events, extra curricular activities, soccer and football games, and anything else they are involved in.
