Hi Guys,

We are a group of Curtin University students, raising money for our community development project in Mongolia. We are raising funds to help develop and build infrastructure for the Lotus Children's Centre in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We are seeking $5000 to continue and advance the work done by past Curtin Teams. 

The Lotus Children’s Centre is a non-profit organisation located in Gachuurt and officially recognised by the Mongolian government. Its mission is to provide housing, healthcare, and support for 75 vulnerable and abused children, helping to create a safer and better quality of life for them.

This project is part of the Blue Sky Practicum, an initiative that has been running continuously since 2019. We are a team of 8 (Johny Berty, Alex Rogers, Chiez Mamansang, Emily Short, Cheuk Ying Wong, Malgorzata Bogaczyk, Nyssa Belamide, and Mia Casey) working to continue projects started by past Curtin students, including the outdoor kitchen/shelter and the Earthship clay structure.

Our goal is to create meaningful, lasting improvements that will positively impact children and the community for many years to come.
