Lost Everything in Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name is Louise and my expectant granddaughter Mara, her husband Joey, and her one year old daughter Rhiannon were trapped in their house in Daytona Beach during the hurricane. Water rose to neck level but they were able to get out of the house carrying their child over their heads. They waited a long time for water rescue. They are safe but have lost everything including both their cars and their home. They don’t have flood insurance due to the high expense in Florida.

My granddaughter Mara is due in 8 weeks, has lost all baby clothing for new baby and her daughter, Rhiannon along with bassinet, crib, bedding etc. along with all their clothing.

They were not able to save anything from their home.

Donations will be used to purchase toddler bed, baby crib for new born, clothing and a deposit for a place to live.
