The Muniz Family in partnership with CDC Designs, where Rolando served as our dedicated and hardworking assistant warehouse manager for 21 years, need our help.
On March 26th, 2024, The Muniz Family and CDC Designs were devastated by the untimely death of one of our very own, Rolando "Rolo" Muniz. Merely 43 years old, while Rolo was driving, he suffered sudden cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, all first responders' numerous attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. Rolo, who was born with congenital heart valve disease, faced challenges in qualifying for most life insurance policies. Unfortunately, the few available options came with unaffordable premiums, making it difficult for him to secure the coverage he needed.
Our hearts are completely shattered. A devoted family man and natural-born leader, Rolo was warm, gregarious, unfailingly committed, and exemplified every value we hold dear. The only fitting way to honor him is to do everything that we can to support his family during this time. That's where you, our extended network of family, friends, colleagues, clients and partners can come in to make a difference.
Rolo's beautiful wife, Raelene, daughters, MaryJane (24), Jessica (20), Khloe (15), and Abigail (12), son, Rolando Jr. (7), and two grandchildren, Elizabeth (5), and Elijah (5 mos.) meant everything to him. They were Rolo's purpose, his joy, and greatest source of pride. He worked tirelessly to provide for them as the family's primary earner and did so beautifully. The family is not only processing the incalculable loss of their husband/dad/grandfather, but also a drastically different economic reality.
Will you please join us in making a lifelong different for his family, the family that Rolo worked so hard to provide for. Raised funds will be used to:
- Cover funeral and memorial expenses
- Allow the family to remain in their home, pay their mortgage and everyday expenses
- Help pay for their children's schooling, including Jessica's final two years of college at Seton Hall University
Any amount will help show this family that they are not alone. If you've ever crossed Rolo's path, you would have experienced him as a beacon of love, loyalty, laughter, and human kindness. Help us carry his legacy by showing up for his family during this extremely challenging time. Thank you for joining us.
