Losing their Rainbow Baby-supporting the Jankowski family.

Friends, family, & compassionate hearts,
Once again, there is a tender and powerful opportunity for us to come together as “the village” to support a family whose hearts are being asked to walk a road no parent should ever have to travel—again.
Emily and Remington Jankowski—who just seven months ago mourned the loss of their firstborn son, Ulysses—are now preparing to say goodbye to their second precious baby boy, Ephraim, who has also been diagnosed with the same heartbreaking condition: Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 2, a terminal form of Brittle Bone Disease.
This cruel disease prevents the ribs from forming properly, making it impossible for the lungs to develop and function after birth. There is no cure. No treatment. Only love—and a painful, early goodbye.
Due to complications that make the pregnancy unsafe to continue, Emily will be induced this Friday. They will meet their son, hold him close, and once again, experience the unimaginable—welcoming life while preparing for loss.
The emotional toll of experiencing this kind of loss twice in one year is beyond words. And while they are grateful to have stability in work and maternity leave this time, the medical bills (fetal care specialist, tests, ect.), memorial costs, and travel to and from their hospital continue to place a financial burden on their family.
So we’re asking you to come alongside them again. Let’s help lift the weight where we can. Let’s show up for them with the same compassion and generosity they so freely offer to others.
Every dollar truly helps.
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you. You are part of this family’s story—and their healing. That kind of love changes everything.
