Last night, our dear friends and neighbors, Maura Keaney and her family, experienced the unimaginable when their home caught fire.

Maura, her son Hugh and their small dog were able to make it out safely. Maura’s husband is currently in the hospital and their family is facing what will undoubtedly be a long and difficult road ahead. (And this comes after an already challenging year of impact by DOGE federal workforce cuts).

Maura an incredible writer, a devoted mom and someone who regularly uses her voice to make a difference. Today, I am using mine for her. I am asking .... friends, neighbors, colleagues and anyone this reaches to help a family that suddenly needs all of us to show up for them.
