Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Lorne 160, 2025, fundraising page. We are proud to announce this year we will be supporting Cloverdale Community Centre.

As a group, we wanted to support a charity that aligns with what we think is important. A common theme for us was community. We believe that having a strong community is one of the most important aspects of our school and one of the reasons it is so special. So when choosing our charity, there was an emphasis on community, as we all first hand know what its like to be surrounded by people who are kind, caring and genuine. Thus, Cloverdale Community Centre directly aligned with one of our most important values.

Cloverdale Community centre is an inclusive hub in Geelong that provides essential services, education programs, and social support to people of all ages. It focuses on building community connections, empowering individuals through learning, and improving wellbeing. With programs ranging from childcare and adult education to food relief and social groups, Cloverdale plays a crucial role in strengthening local resilience and opportunity. At GGS we already support them through our community service programmes. We want to give them what they need in order to serve and support the community.

For these reasons any donations would be greatly appreciated by all our Lorne 160 team, whether they are great or small.
