Lori Terpening

Dear friends and family,

On Monday, October 24th, Robert P. Terpening came to rest after complications from cancer. Rob was a wonderful husband, brother, father, stepfather, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his wife, Lori, his sister, Linda, his children, Melissa, Derek, Adam, and Matthew, his stepchildren, Kristina, Danielle, and Michael, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Rob’s former wife, Barbara.

For those of you that knew him, knew that he was a fighter. Rob was recently re-diagnosed with cancer and he fought hard until the very end.

Rob brightened the lives of others, including many children that passed through his care in Red Schoolhouse Home Daycare, which he and Lori developed and ran together. He will be remembered for his devotion to his daycare families.

The family wasn’t prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a funeral service and burial. We are reaching out to you in hopes that you might be able to support our family during this difficult time. So you know exactly where your donation will be used, we are planning memorial services and a funeral ceremony to be held at Keyser Funeral Home in Kingston, NY on November 1st and 2nd.

All the money raised from this campaign will go directly to Lori. It will cover memorial and funeral costs along with any additional costs associated with Rob’s passing as he was the sole provider of the family. This will help take the weight of the world off Rob’s family’s shoulders during this sad time.
