Lorcan & Cillian’s Christmas Run for Southern Area Hospice
On Saturday 14th December 2024, me and my good friend Cillian Ward will be taking part in the inaugural ‘Hilltown to Hill Street’ Christmas Run in aid of Southern Area Hospice. With Christmas being a time of joy and happiness with friends and family we aim to raise vital funds for people less fortunate in our community around the festive period. We will assemble at 11am in Hilltown Square dressed as Santa and Rudolph, ready to head off on the 16 mile route that will pass through Rostrevor, Warrenpoint and Newry and we will take in famous sights such as Ross Monument, Moygannon Football Pitch and The Dual Carriageway, ending with a sprint along Hill Street and looping around to finish outside Grounded Espresso Bar, Newry. All donations are greatly appreciated and feel free to join us or cheer us on along the route. The Hospice does amazing work for terminally ill patients in our local community and this run is our way to say thank you and your donations will help them continue their mission in the future. We are very excited to undertake this challenge and welcome any form of support. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
