Lora, Jose, and Babby

From Lora:  “On Christmas Eve, José had a massive dissection (tear) of a thoracic aortic aneurysm. We just barely caught it in time. He had open heart surgery at OSF on Christmas and the odds were very much against him, but he made it. His ascending aorta and the aortic valve in his heart had to be replaced. There was quite a bit that they had to leave damaged because they were just trying to save his life. He’s still on a vent and sedated and he will be hospitalized for a while. He’s been able to wake up, follow commands, and communicate. He’s fighting so hard. It’s going to be a long and painful recovery and I would love for him to be flooded with support and prayers and positive energy. Thank you all so much. We love you.”

Please help us support Lora and Jose during a time when they need us the most.
