Emergency Relief for City of Wilmington, DE

Donation protected
I am the son of a Korean immigrant family that is affected by the latest looting in Downtown Wilmington. My parents' store has been completely demolished, along with other minority-owned businesses in the area. See here - https://www.delawareonline.com/picture-gallery/news/2020/05/31/rioters-loot-downtown-wilmington-businesses-after-protests/5297214002/

I reflect on the cause at hand and why my parents' business was targeted. It doesn't make sense. They are a minority-owned business and have been serving the community of Downtown Wilmington faithfully for 35+ years. Before my parents' store was affected, I spoke to my father earlier about his thoughts on the killing of George Floyd. He told me that he empathizes with the African-American community and believes that what the white officer did was absolutely evil. I have memories of my parents cultivating close relationships with their customers and everyone calling him by his last name, "Suh". There are many other long-standing minority-owned businesses that have been serving the African-American community wrongfully targeted for looting.

With the funds raised, they will be distributed to my parents' business and the Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington.

I would be extremely grateful for your contribution so that it takes away the hardship that my parents face and to support the community around them.
