Long Live Leilani

Baby Leilani was diagnosed at 3 months old with a Hepatoblastoma.  Her prognosis is hopeful but will consist of multiple rounds of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor.  Once the tumor is small enough a risky surgery to remove the large tumor in her liver that is hugging her inferior vena cava will need to be performed.
As you can imagine,  her parents Elliot and Rebekah were completely in disbelief. However, they quickly moved on from that feeling to  fight mode. They are doing everything they can to make sure their baby girl beats this cancer.
The support would mean the world to them. Rebekah is just starting her new job as an ICU nurse and just got off maternity leave.  She is not able to take leave at this time to be with Leilani full-time because she has not been at her job long enough for FMLA. When Rebekah is not at work caring for the critically ill in our community, she is at another Hospital 40 minutes from home by her daughters bedside. Elliot is doing everything he can to be with Leilani when Rebekah has to work but it is difficult with their 8 year old son, Jude, who also needs support during this time of adversity.  Any help during this difficult time would help ease the worries that this family has had to endure.
The funds will be used to pay their deductible of $8,000.00 and any uncovered medical costs. 33206796_1537743988190433_r.jpeg33206796_1537744438222457_r.jpeg33206796_1537744457841153_r.jpeg
