Long Covid Recovery Fund for Courtney & Sylvan!

Courtney brings color and joy into all of our lives as a gifted teacher, intuitive artist, badass solo parent, and fierce friend. If you know Courtney, you know how she shows up in community, at the studio, and at home with three year-old Sylvan.

As a working solo parent living with disability and chronic illness, Courtney has struggled to recover after finally coming down with Covid-19 this fall. Since then, she has been pushing through work and childcare while experiencing extreme fatigue, body pain, and brain fog.

Thankfully, Courtney was recently referred to the Long Covid Clinic at UNC Chapel Hill. She's feeling hopeful that with good medical and community care she can have the space she needs to rest and regain her strength.

By contributing to Courtney's Long Covid Recovery Fund, you'll help support Courtney and Sylvan in the following practical ways:

THE BASICS: Courtney has worked hard to identify and develop the practical resources and support she needs as a solo parent to keep her and Sylvan well-supported and healthy. Helping fund childcare, rent, housecleaning help, and groceries for six months will make a huge difference in Courtney's ability to rest and recover without pushing her physical limits and/or undue financial anxiety.

NEW MATTRESS URGENTLY NEEDED: Courtney was recently diagnosed with a bad paraspinal sprain and urgently needs a new mattress that can properly support her healing.
