I'm taking on the London-Brighton Cycle Ride on September 13th to help raise funds for an exciting new Youth Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) at the Highbury Roundhouse (https://www.highbury-roundhouse.org.uk/).

You don't need a sermon from me about the challenges facing young people in today's economy. This scheme will help bring skills, encouragement and focus to those who sign up.

Developed in response to feedback from local young people, parents, and the wider community, YES offers workshops, mentoring, enterprise challenges for young people aged 14-24.

It is designed to support confidence, financial wellbeing, employability skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. It includes money management, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and career readiness.

By supporting YES, you can help local young people better prepare for employment, apprenticeships, higher education, self-employment, or starting a business of their own.

Thanks to the generosity of The Drapers' Company, all donations will be match funded up to a total of £2,500, which means for every £10 donated, £20 will be made available to the Roundhouse.
