Hi, my name is Frankie and next year I will be running the London Marathon in fire kit to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity! Something I am extremely proud and excited to be doing.

The Fire Fighters Charity provide care and well being support to the UK's fire services and their families, helping them adapt to physical, emotional and social challenges whilst also aiding the transition to life after service. A key highlight of the services for me are the 3 residential centres: Marine Court, Jubilee House and Harcombe House- providing physical rehabilitation, mental health support, and rest-and-recharge holidays- something I have felt the benefits of first hand.

The Charity has always held a special place in my heart after the support myself and my family received following the passing of my Dad, FF Jim Shears, in 2010. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to be able to give back to the charity that helped us through our difficult times.
