Hi my name is Katie Wicks, I'm asking for our community's help to support Loma & Family After the Sudden Loss of Andrew

On Friday, 8th August, Loma and her family experienced the unimaginable — the sudden and tragic loss of their beloved 18-year-old son, Andrew, in a car accident.

Andrew was just beginning his journey into adulthood — full of potential, dreams, laughter, and love. He was the kind of young man who lit up a room with his smile, who showed kindness without asking, and who loved his family deeply. He was a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend… and now, he is a memory far too soon.

No parent is ever prepared to bury their child. The emotional pain is unbearable — and with it comes a heavy financial burden. Between funeral expenses, time off work, counseling, and the cost of simply trying to stay afloat while mourning such a tremendous loss, Loma and her family are in need of support.

We’re raising funds to help ease this burden and allow them the space and time they need to grieve without the weight of financial worry. Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly to the family to cover:

• Funeral and memorial expenses

• Grief and trauma counseling

• Lost income due to time off work

• Day-to-day living expenses as they navigate this difficult time
