Hi, I’m David, Lola’s new adopted parent. I adopted her from a shelter 2 weeks ago and took her for a vet appointment after noticing she was leaking urine. The vet recommended a specialist, and we went to VCA hospital and had a CT scan. We found out she has a birth defect called ectopic ureter, and she now needs surgery. As you can imagine, the procedure is very expensive as well as needed for her health. She leaks urine, is constantly wet on her backside, and we need help. The CT scan was $3100, and the surgery will cost anywhere from $3500-$4500.
