Lola’s Adoption

One of the things Rachael was most proud of was the amazing blended family she, Austin, Dana and Julia created and cultivated in the last several years. She was proud because it was important that her girls never had to choose between their parents. They got to celebrate birthdays and holidays together. They had weekly family dinners. They created one big, happy family. Most special to her though was the fact that Dana and Julia welcomed in Rachael’s youngest daughter, Lola, without question or hesitation. Even though Dana is not Lola’s biological father, he willingly stepped in to be her Dad, and Julia, her proud bonus mom.

Prior to Rachael’s passing, their beautiful family decided that Dana and Julia would adopt Lola to solidify their roles in her life. Unfortunately, Rachael’s health declined quite rapidly, and the adoption process was not completed.

As Dana, Julia and all of the girls begin to move forward as a family, they have decided to continue the adoption process. This was Rachael’s hope for Lola, and Lola is so excited for her adoption to be finalized.

All funds that are raised here will go toward helping with expenses related to Lola’s adoption. Thank you in advance for helping make this dream come true for Rachael, Lola, Dana and Julia. Words will never be able to express how much this will mean for all of them.
