We are family and close loved ones of Logan and his devoted parents, Keith and Mila.
With heavy hearts and hopeful spirits, we are asking for your help. Logan is a bright, beautiful 7-year-old boy, but developmentally, he is closer to one. After years of searching for answers, traveling across countries, and meeting countless doctors, Logan was diagnosed with a rare mutation in the PRMT9 gene. This condition is so little understood that only about 37 people worldwide are known to have it.
Logan is non-verbal. He learns as quickly as he unlearns. It took years to teach him to walk, and even now, he falls daily. He requires the same level of care as an infant, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Recently, Logan was admitted to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto due to seizures and constant, unexplained pain. In just one month, he ground down his teeth to the nerves, and doctors still do not know why. Logan cannot tell us what is wrong, but his screams do.
And yet, despite it all, Logan smiles. He laughs. He finds joy in the little moments between waves of pain.
As Logan’s friends and family, we have seen first-hand how difficult it is to manage his condition, and how much of a mental and physical strain Mila and Keith have endured. And we want to get as much support for them as possible.
Why we need your help
Keith is a respected leader in the health tech space, dedicated to improving the lives of others. His greatest inspiration has always been Logan, whose strength and spirit continue to drive Keith’s work and the positive impact he makes in the community. Mila is a highly accomplished former stuntwoman. They are hardworking, resourceful, and deeply committed parents who do not ask for help lightly.
No amount of career success or personal determination can fully prepare a family for the financial and emotional impact of raising a child with a rare, complex condition like PRMT9. The cost of care is staggering and constant. It includes:

- Ongoing physical, occupational, and speech therapy
