Logan and Sam’s walk for Compton Care

Hey!

My name is Logan and me and my freind Sam are taking part in the 21.5 mile long Bridgnorth Walk on May 5th.

As apart of this walk, the participants all choose a charity to raise money for, let me tell you why we chose Compton Care:

Me and Sam have been freinds for about 10 years, and every year since I was 6 I have done a fundraiser for numerous charities, for example, walking from bridgnorth to liverpool in 2023. This year I signed up for the bridgnorth walk, alone, and when thinking of what charity to choose I thought why not see if Sam wanted to do it with me. Sam agreed and said about doing it for Compton Care.

Sams grandad sadly passed in 2023, but before this he was under the wonderful care of Compton Hospice. The staff working with his grandad and his family where phenomenal. The way they treated him, there understanding towards Sams family in such a difficult and saddening situation was completely outstanding and this is why it was a no-brainer to choose this deserving charity to raise money for. It means somthing to sam, so it means somthing to me… and i think after hearing that, it should mean somthing to you too.
