We are the Lockport Community Development Group, a non-profit organization that annually hosts "Lockport Ice Village & Entertainment (L.I.V.E.)." We invite you to help us make this exciting, season long event, bigger and better this year! We are looking to add a skating rink, a hockey rink, warm up shelters, Crokicurl and more for 2024...but we need your help to make it all happen!

Lockport Ice Village & Entertainment L.I.V.E.

is a manifestation of our thriving ice fishing

community, designed to be 100% FREE for outdoor

enthusiasts, where unforgettable experiences and

lasting memories are crafted.

Nestled at the foot of the St. Andrews Lock and

Dam, a locale renowned as the Catfish Capital of

Manitoba, L.I.V.E. is set to welcome ice anglers from

all walks of life. We're proud to announce the return

of contests for the finest catches, an event that

garnered immense attention, drawing thousands of

participants and capturing the media's spotlight last

year.

This year, the Village will again feature well-maintained

roadways, ensuring safe and hassle-free access

across the ice as well as several new features!

With your generous support, we are hoping L.I.V.E. 2024

will boast an ice rink for skating and, even more

excitingly, a Hockey Rink available for rent or for thrilling

3-on-3 hockey matches. COST: $35K

Additionally, at the skating rink we will be providing

cozy warming stations. And for the ultimate in

wintertime fun, we're hoping to include a Crokicurl area where

you can play casually or rent it out with friends! COST: $20K

But we can't do it without your help! As we expand our

vision for this year and the next, we're reaching out to

invite you to help fund our community seasonal event site.

For those who want to get hands-on with the Village,

we're always on the lookout for volunteers. Keep an eye out for

upcoming volunteer open houses!
