Lochwinnoch Community Garden

Lochwinnoch Community Garden is a valuable resource for the people of this Renfrewshire Village.  The main feature was a large polytunnel used by local people and groups for the growing of fruit and vegetables as well as by local environmental charity Eadha Enterprises (www.eadha.co.uk) for the propagation of rare native trees.
Unfortunately last week we suffered a terrible setback when the polytunnel was completely destroyed by vandals who had broken into the garden.  In a flash our collection of tools, equipment, and materials built up over many years was lost as well as many plants.

However we are determined to rebuild and we are now raising money for the clean up, to replace the polytunnel and all the lost items and to install greater security measures.  We are hopeful that the garden will again be a beautiful and peaceful place in the heart of the village.
