Loch Lomond 36.4 km swim 2023

In mid-July a group of family and friends - Rebecca Lonsdale, David Lonsdale (Rebecca's brother in law), Cherryl Lonsdale (David's mum) and Rebecca's friend Laurel, all ably assisted by Cherryl's friends 'Auntie' Eileen, Catherine and Chris (captain of the support boat) will ... SWIM THE LENGTH OF LOCH LOMOND!!

The 36.4 kilometre relay swim will take us from Ardlui at the top of the Loch to Balloch in the south. Our aim is to complete it in 18-20 hours.

Why are we doing this?

Because we're all mad. Because it's been Cherryl's dream for a long while. But also to try and raise a little money for a brilliant cause, MacMillan Cancer Support, which does so much great work to support those diagnosed with cancer and their families.
