Help Local Families in Malawi Grow Food All Year – Support Ulimi Irrigation Farm
In the heart of Malawi, Cape MacLear, a group local fisherman has come together to turn a dream into reality. Ulimi Irrigation is a small farming initiative founded by local families who want to use the water of Lake Malawi for more than just fishing — they want to grow food, fight hunger, and create jobs.
Right now, 25 families are already working hard to grow food in one of Malawi’s driest and most challenging regions.
Their biggest challenge is to get the materials they need to bring enough water to their fields. Without proper water tanks, pipes, and connectors, much of their land stays dry — and their seeds and plants struggle to survive under the intense heat and long dry seasons.
Your donation can change that.
Even a small amount will help buy essential materials to build a simple water system. With your support, these families can:
Grow more and healthier food
Earn a stable income from the fruits and vegetables
Empower local people to build a better future for their children
Our first goal is €300, which will go directly toward purchasing water tanks and watering equipment. Any amount above that will help expand the system and reach more families.
Every euro makes a real difference. Together, we can help Ulimi Irrigation Farm to transform Lake Malawi’s water into a new source jobs and opportunities.
