Local St. Pete, FL Family In Need

We are in desperate need of assistance for a wonderful married couple with a sixteen-year-old son. Both father and son have some disabilities. They receive paltry disability checks, and the mother works any job she can find to help support her family. Part of that family include their two dogs, Mickey and Apollo. Apollo needs special dog food and medicine for his kidney disease. Safe Paws Rescue has been donating dog food and monthly preventatives to make a small dent in the family’s financial struggles.

I am sure everyone is aware of the housing crisis in St. Pete, and their landlord raised their rent, and they could not possibly keep up with the financial increase. They were evicted, but refused to part with their pups. They were barely managing a budget motel, until the tourist season commenced, and the motel raised the rate.

Safe Paws will continue to support Mickey and Apollo, but for them to keep their dogs they do need to find safe and affordable housing. They could manage $1200 a month for an apartment. Please help these kind people find a home with a contribution for the first month, last month, security deposit, and pet deposit. Safe Paws Rescue will stay committed to Mickey and Apollo, but they deserve to stay with their family.
